Este contexto exige, mais do que nunca, que todos os profissionais, em particular os das Tecnologias de Informa\u00e7\u00e3o e Comunica\u00e7\u00e3o (TIC), se mantenham em permanente atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o de compet\u00eancias para preservarem a sua relev\u00e2ncia profissional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A necessidade de aprender ao longo da vida, o&nbsp;<em>lifelong&nbsp;<\/em><em>learnin<\/em>g, ganha assim centralidade e afirma-se como condi\u00e7\u00e3o essencial de empregabilidade, como j\u00e1 confirmado no relat\u00f3rio do F\u00f3rum Econ\u00f3mico Mundial, publicado este ano. \u00c9 neste enquadramento que os conceitos de&nbsp;<em>reskilling<\/em>&nbsp;(requalifica\u00e7\u00e3o para uma nova fun\u00e7\u00e3o profissional) e&nbsp;<em>upskilling<\/em>&nbsp;(aperfei\u00e7oar e ampliar compet\u00eancias dentro da mesma \u00e1rea profissional) assumem import\u00e2ncia decisiva. Ambos integram uma mentalidade de aprendizagem cont\u00ednua que ultrapassa a forma\u00e7\u00e3o formal e abra\u00e7am o autodesenvolvimento, a experimenta\u00e7\u00e3o e a adapta\u00e7\u00e3o ao mercado. Porqu\u00ea?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Primeiro, respondem \u00e0 escassez de talento. O setor das TIC est\u00e1 em crescimento em Portugal e estima-se uma subida entre 8% e 12% at\u00e9 ao final deste ano, com valoriza\u00e7\u00e3o salarial correspondente. Uma publica\u00e7\u00e3o da KPMG confirma esta escassez, refor\u00e7ando a oportunidade para quem esteja disposto a fazer o percurso de aprendizagem. Para que as empresas encontrem perfis aptos, os profissionais precisam de adaptar-se mais depressa do que no passado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Segundo, pela r\u00e1pida transforma\u00e7\u00e3o digital. Muitas empresas adotam modelos&nbsp;<em>cloud<\/em>, DevOps ou IA nativa e os profissionais que n\u00e3o acompanham estas tecnologias correm o risco de ficar estagnados e de ver o seu perfil tornar-se irrelevante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Terceiro, porque o<em>&nbsp;lifelong learning<\/em>&nbsp;\u00e9 j\u00e1 uma estrat\u00e9gia individual. A ideia de que \u201ca minha forma\u00e7\u00e3o acabou quando sa\u00ed da faculdade\u201d j\u00e1 n\u00e3o serve no \u201cnovo normal\u201d. O compromisso com a aprendizagem cont\u00ednua tornou-se o \u00fanico caminho para manter a empregabilidade, a evolu\u00e7\u00e3o e a literacia tecnol\u00f3gica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quarto, e n\u00e3o menos importante, porque se traduz num benef\u00edcio competitivo para as organiza\u00e7\u00f5es. As empresas que promovem o<em>&nbsp;reskilling&nbsp;<\/em>e<em>upskilling<\/em>&nbsp;revelam mais adaptabilidade, reten\u00e7\u00e3o de talentos e produtividade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Embora n\u00e3o haja casos amplamente documentados, existem sinais claros de que a reconvers\u00e3o profissional para TIC funciona no mercado nacional. Em Portugal, v\u00e1rias empresas tecnol\u00f3gicas recrutam programadores que passam por reconvers\u00e3o profissional para TI para suprir necessidades crescentes do mercado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Desta forma, percebemos que n\u00e3o se trata apenas de discurso: os profissionais podem efetivamente mudar de carreira ou crescer dentro da \u00e1rea TIC, desde que invistam na atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o e adapta\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>H\u00e1, contudo, desafios para incorporar estes conceitos e boas pr\u00e1ticas. A principal barreira continua a ser a mentalidade, aceitar que a aprendizagem n\u00e3o termina com o primeiro diploma e que \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio investigar, experimentar, falhar e voltar a tentar. Importa igualmente escolher forma\u00e7\u00f5es alinhadas com as tend\u00eancias do mercado e validar se as compet\u00eancias adquiridas s\u00e3o valorizadas em contexto real.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O&nbsp;<em>networking<\/em>&nbsp;e o envolvimento em projetos reais s\u00e3o outro fator diferencial: envolver-se em eventos ou projetos&nbsp;<em>hands-on<\/em>&nbsp;permite consolidar aprendizagem e criar evid\u00eancia para o mercado. A empresa, por seu lado, precisa de estruturar percursos de aprendizagem (<em>learning paths<\/em>) e requalifica\u00e7\u00e3o interna, como se observa em grandes&nbsp;<em>players<\/em>&nbsp;de servi\u00e7o em Portugal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para todos os que est\u00e3o a pensar dar o passo, seja para entrar no universo das TIC ou evoluir dentro dele, fica a mensagem de que \u00e9 poss\u00edvel. O mercado portugu\u00eas est\u00e1 a crescer, h\u00e1 escassez de talento e h\u00e1 cada vez mais vias de acesso para o desenvolvimento ou reinven\u00e7\u00e3o profissional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para todos os que est\u00e3o a pensar dar o passo, seja para entrar no universo das TIC ou evoluir dentro dele, fica a mensagem de que \u00e9 poss\u00edvel.
